The Government of Mexico has just published the “Technical Guidelines on Health Safety in the Work Environment” in order to achieve an orderly, gradual and cautious reopening of work activities.
The protocols are documents that involve a commitment in good faith, so the information provided, under oath, must correspond to the actual conditions of the workplace.
- Starting today, the companies and industries will respond to the document called “Self-assessment of the Health Security Protocol”.
- This is an “under goodwill” agreement which must be based and endorsed by the IMSS Protocol, according to the size of the enterprise.
- The general identification data contained in the platform gob.mx/nuevanormalidad should be completed and the Charter-Commitment answered.
- IMSS shall issue an acknowledgement of receipt electronically and a result within no more than 72 hours. This email shall determine the approval, request for additional information or refusal of the health security protocol and shall define the effects of whether or not it may initiate the essential activities considered.
- The guideline shall enter into force on the day of its publication (TODAY) as a technical guideline and shall be in force until the sanitary emergency that originated it is declared finished.
The Registration Application for the approval of the health protocol of companies in the construction, mining and manufacturing of transport (automotive) could be access at: http://www.desi.economia.gob.mx/esenciales/
